In a world – still reeling from the echoes of accusations of a rigged election – a shady entity of unexplained origins – known only as ‘The Academy’ – mysteriously appears to announce its own rigged election. The annual phenomenon, infamously clandestine in its operations, now seems even more sinister as it awards it’s golden idols to films that supposedly crept into the theatres despite a nation-wide, mandatory quarantine. One man is still sifting through the ashes of truth. A lone voice crackles through the static-electricity of red-carpet opulence.
