Theatre has been part of the Human experience since the dawn of creation. Before the first hieroglyph was ever etched, elders spread their culture and histories through chants and masques around the fire. Even now, despite the streams of the Peacock and the Hulu, people flock to theatres to witness the grandiose spectacle of Beetlejuice and Hamilton. Swifties trample the Ticket Master for a chance to catch a performance from the nose-bleeds. There is still magic in being in the same air as the artists and musicians as the spell is woven in real time and real life. And there are some performers that become addicted to the audience. And like a user in withdrawal, they crawl into the creepy dark places of the underground to get their fix. For in the tunnels underneath New York, there are always people sitting, as if in audience, waiting for the artist to show up. But are those listening ears ready for the show?
